• I just attempted to install an update for the Search Meter Plug-in, but now I am getting this message at the top of the admin page.

Warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The second argument should be either an array or an object in /home/content/10/4496810/html/”blogname”/wp-content/plugins/search-meter/search-meter.php on line 428

I am also unable, now, to administrate my plug-ins page. Does anyone know what I should do? So far, the blog itself seems to be running okay.

I’m also getting this when I try to perform normal admin functions:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/10/4496810/html/”blogname”/wp-content/plugins/search-meter/search-meter.php:428) in /home/content/10/4496810/html/eternalviewpoint/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 890

I’ve deactivated this plug-in, and that seems to have resolved the problem. But what can I do to reactivate the plugin and prevent the problem with the plugin running?

having the same problem. How did you deactivate? I can’t access my admin so can’t deactivate
    thanks

okay not sure if I did the right thing, and I don’t know how to fix like TOvermiller above, but I simply renames the plugin folder and I was able to access my admin panel. Weird thing is, i have two other blogs running the same plugin (I think, will need to check) and they are not having a problem

FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides)
    and delete wp-content/plugins/search-meter

okay, it seems like it may be a plugin upgrade issue. I was then prompted, after the above, to upgrade the plug in twice… did so and all seems fine now.

thanks esmi – managed to get that far after thinking about it ??

Feedback is helpful. Thanks. Today I simply reinstalled the plugin (a new upgrade, I think) and reactivated it. This time, it performed without any glitches. Hmm.
