    Can we please get some details on what the “processing engine rewrite” entails?

    Is this simply the bulk editor, or has the compression algorithm been updated as well?

    Hello @feastdesignco,

    In short, the queuing system has been improved and it should now work faster and more reliable, especially on sites with lots of images. Quite a lot has been streamlined and the overall experience with the plugin should be much better.

    With regards to the compression algorithm, that’s totally outside of the plugin (as it is done by the ShortPixel API) and it is improved constantly, but not directly a part of this release.
