Install.php link broken

  • Ok i downloaded the 3.0 version, created the database in phpmyadmin, changed the config file to my new db name and host, uploaded the wordpress file to the root directory via ftp and when i put in my url address to launch the install file it says link is broken. Any ideas?

    yea, technically not an install at this point because it can’t find the link. I run another wordpress install off the same server but for some reason this one isnt doing it.

    Post the path to your install.php. Let’s have a look at what’s broken. Break the link if you don’t want it “clickable”. You know, something like
    //www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/install.php
