Rehub theme, I don’t get any thumbnail images generated

  • Hi there,

    I use the rehub theme installed and activated the plugin, checked the settings and now? I don’t get any thumbnails generated. Do I miss something or is there a manual trigger to get them created?

    If your theme is doing it’s own thing to generate category thumbnails rather than using the WooCommerce action that is used by default, then I’m afraid this plugin will not work for you.

    To double check though, you are not seeing a thumbnail image on a category that has products inside it, and at least one of those products has a featured image attached to it?

    But, I ask you. No my theme does nothing on that end, it’s Elementor
    powered though. Is there a trigger to generate them?

    Ah, OK — if you’re using Elementor and it’s Product Categories widget, that is seemingly incompatible as it does things in its own way and not the way that my plugin hooks into.

    This thread has just given me an idea of a way that this could be resolved though for all compatibility issues, which I’ll look into ASAP, but for now I’m afraid you’d need to assign category images manually.
