Sizing of home page thumbnail images

    Hi,

    I am having a challenge where the images on my homepage come through as different sizes.

    I recently reset the kale thumbnail dimensions and have regenerated through the plug-in but some images are still sized differently.

    Thanks for getting in touch, sorry to hear about the trouble with the thumbnails!

    Thank you for outlining what you’ve done so far, that helps a lot to narrow things down.

    It looks like there are three recent ones that are sized correctly, but as counterintuitive as this sounds, the ones that are oversized seem to be due to the fact that they were edited to a smaller size prior to their thumbnails being generated (or regenerated).

    Using the most recent oversized one (Chipotle corn salad- looks amazing btw!) as an example, the current image is too small for thumbnails to be accurately cropped from it. This is the current, edited version, which is only 480×560:

    That “-e1651537591701” is what shows that it’s an edited version. But the original (IMG_0203.jpg) is 1756×2048, which is plenty big enough to generate correct thumbnails. If you can switch the featured images back to the unedited original images and then run the thumbnail regeneration again, it should resolve this.

    Thank you so much! That was an earlier attempt to fix my thumbnails I’d forgotten about, reverting to the originals did the trick!
