In order for the google web stories to show on my Divi site, I have to create a post and enter the url for a single link using the Web Stories plugin. It would be much easier if I could just embed the stories, but the embed code is not working with the Divi code or text module. These stories were created using Crowdriff > Localhood, so I don’t know if that matters. Also, is there a way to make sure the stories do not play until someone clicks on them? Lots of questions, I know, but thank you for your help!

    The url is: https://scottcostaging.wpengine.com/
I’m trying to place the embed code for my stories gallery in that blank section beneath the newsletter sign-up but before the video.

Also – I can make the web stories appear if I add them as a single link in a wordpress blog post (not using Divi builder), BUT the stories do not appear at the beginning, instead loading the last segment of the story instead. Is there a fix to this?

@rbcm2002 You can find more information on the shortcodes here. This shows what is supported with the shortcodes and what attributes can be added.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

The shortcode is probably going to work on the Divi page. However, is there any way from keeping the story from auto-playing when the page loads? We would like users to click the story to have it played.

@rbcm2002 We do currently have an open feature request to allow embedding a single story with preview/lightbox that the user would have to click to open. Please feel free to monitor that GitHub issue for any updates.

@rbcm2002 We will mark this topic as resolved as we haven’t received any further response. Please open a new support topic if you encounter any other issues or questions. Thanks!
