Can’t enter Yoast Webmaster Tools Bing Verification code

    In Yoast General – Webmaster Tools – Add Bing verification code.

    I can’t enter a verification code because:

    “https://alwayspaws.com/ was imported from Google Search Console. Since it is already verified on Google Search Console, there is no verification code needed on Bing for this site.”

    Will my SEO still work for Bing?

    Thanks for using Yoast SEO plugin.

    I understand that you are not able to add the Bing verification code as you have verified the website on Bing by choosing the import from the GSC option. Kindly note that we provide the webmaster verification option for websites to ease the process of verification to avoid the hassle of verifying process to get quick access to the Search Console/Bing. As you have already verified the Bing Webmaster, you won’t need to worry about verifying it or about adding the verifying code to Yoast SEO settings.
    Will my SEO still work for Bing?
    I would also clarify that this won’t affect the SEO for Bing, as these verification fields are added within our plugin to ease the process of verifying the website.
    In case you haven’t yet submitted the sitemap to the Bing webmaster, we do recommend you to follow our help center article to submit the sitemap.

    Thank you for letting me know this.

    I submitted my sitemap to Bing on May 29, 2022 and it’s marked successful.
