I am creating a membership website. For tables, I need to provide fronted editing option to my members depending on the subscription level.

Members can add rows to the table and enter the data. They can see the data (or rows) created by all users but edit and delete their own data only.

Any suggestions how I can do it?

  • Hello Pravtiw

Probably not a good idea to allow members to add data and that is why most Clubs have a Secretary who inputs data and members can see it, depending on their status.
I am sure wpDataTables can do what you require as it is by far the best plugin for tables on the market and well worth investing in the paid version. By paid I mean not just the extra features BUT the super support offered.

I have in excess of 20 websites and all have membership and none would allow members to enter data because in the long run the mistakes they will make will cause more issues.
Just my own experience and maybe you have a good reason for allowing it and good luck with the project.

@alexanderweb thank you for your assistance here!

Hello @pravtiw thank you for reaching out to us.

The Editing feature is not included in wpDataTables Lite, only in the full version. Please open a ticket on our official support platform, and we’ll gladly help you there.

Commercial products are not supported in these forums, as per this comment by www.remarpro.com moderators so we cannot provide support for the full version here.

    Thank you for understanding.
