Restoring old backup

    I had a website two years back which i restarted again on a different host.
    I have only one backup from that site which i downloaded on my PC
    THEN installed updraft on this new fresh site and tried uploading this backup but updraft didn’t recognise it as a zip file (though it is a zip file)

    Is there any way around it?
    Also can i unzip the file and manually upload all content in the file manager… Will it work?

    Any hint will be appreciated. Thanks

    Hi,

    UpdraftPlus backup filename format is backup_date_time_sitename_randomnumbers.zip.
    Is that what the filename shows or did you rename it?

    I did not change the filename but finally managed after trail and error, though the pictures have all vanished :), Thanks
