I Don’t Understand Staging Process

  • I’ve already gone to Bluehost/WP support about this and they failed miserably. I’m trying to understand the Staging process so I can make some critical decisions on how close I am from going Prime Time. The problem is, even when support created the staging website when I run the AIOSEO SEO audit it looks at the temp site that says the REAL site is “STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION.” So, the keywords it’s analyzing are “Hello World”, “WordPress”, etc., NOT MY keywords. HEP ME!

  • A WordPress staging site is a test site that you can use to “safely” make plugin updates and other changes before going live. In the past, it used to be very difficult to setup a WordPress staging site, but now that has changed so even a non-technical person can do it.
