• I’ve just set this up for a Charity Ball. Had a minor freak out when I didn’t think I was going to be able to do the CheckOut with Checkinera to facilitate easy Check-Ins for 600+ guests. A message to support and LITERALLY 30 minutes later my problems are solved and I am marching forward. It’s taken me a while to get everything completely set up, probably a full working day, possibly 2. How amazing is that! So good. The plugin is great. I can see they have invested heaps of time into it. There are only a couple things we weren’t able to do IE) Set an Early Bird price on a ticket, or allow people to select an entire table and book it rather than click on each seat at the table individually and add them to their cart but these are easily overcome. Very very impressed. If you’re looking for a ticketing system for events and WordPress is your platform, there isn’t a better plugin out there. I looked. ALOT.

First of all, thank you so much for your kind words!
Yes, we have invested a lot of time making Tickera what it is today and we’re always listening closely to our customers and adding features based on their feedback.

Now, I feel I need to address one thing: Early Bird ticket pricing actually can be done. The trick is to create a separate ticket type and call it eg. Early Bird and set its pricing to whatever lower pricing you need for it. After that, set start and end date and time during which this ticket type will be available for sale.
Next, create a Standard ticket type, set its pricing and all that but when setting up ticket selling availability, make sure it’s start date and time matches the end date and time of the Early Bird ticket type.
That way, as soon as the Early Bird ticket type expires and becomes unavailable, Standard ticket type will become available for purchase.
Of course, you can create as many ticket types as you want and schedule ticket selling availability for each.

As for reserving a whole table in a single go, you’re unfortunately, right. This is not possible yet and each seat must be selected individually and ticket for it added to the cart. However, our developers have this on their roadmap but given the complexity of the Seating Charts add-on, as for now, we cannot tell when this might be expected, I’m afraid.
