Hello, can you improve the functionality of the search engine in the menu constructor? The black screen in the middle of the search engine is not a good UX UI practice, in the mobile version it stays in the middle, hiding search results, very bad user experience. Ideally it would be just a top bar to replace the menu or a small box or side window.

    Cheers

  • Hello @maxiec,
Thanks for reaching out to us!

I can understand your concern. We have tried to make The Header-Search of ElementsKit different and ensure that it looks good on any type of device. The Black Screen with a Search Box will stay till you Hit the enter button after writing the search terms or click anywhere outside the search box. For Mobile devices, it also works in the same way. I have tested the widget properly and can assure you that the results are appearing properly on the Result page. They aren’t getting hidden at all.

We always value the ideas that come from our clients, a lot! We are continuously working on improving our plugin by adding new features in our plugin according to the necessity of the users. If you believe that the Header Search Widget can be improved in any way, then please add this as a feature request. You will find the Link to our Feature Request portal on the USEFUL LINKS section of the Plugin Details page.

Let me know if there is anything else you need help with. We are always here to assist you.

    Best Regards,

    Hello, @maxiec
I hope you are doing well.

The search results are configured to displayed in another page when you are using the Advance Search Widget of ElementsKit. From the Screenshot you have sent, it looks like you are using Search Feature from Third Party Plugin. The search result doesn’t display in that way.

If you are having any issues with it, It will be better if you could consult with the support team of the plugin you are using to implement the Search Feature. I hope they will help you in solving your issues.

Let me know if there is anything else you need help with. We are always here to assist you.

    Best Regards,
    Prosenjit
