how to turn off category slug?

    I really like the product from wpbeginner et al, but I’m confused how to turn off the category domain.com/category/name-category slug like in yoast. but the domain.com/name-category page can still be opened via domain.com/name-category even though I haven’t done any settings.

    e.g. in header I give direct menu link domain.com/name-category (because it shows the exact same page too) it will have bad effect with my seo, or if I use other third party plugin to remove that slug will it have bad effect to my all in one seo plugin and my category page?

    Hey @ahnaffauzan,

    I’m glad to hear that you appreciate our plugin!

    All in One SEO does support stripping the category slug. You can strip it by enabling the relevant setting for it under Search Appearance > Taxonomies > Categories and then going to the Advanced tab.

    Let me know if that works! I’m happy to post a screenshot in case you’re not able to find it. Also, we only added this feature in the last update, so make sure that you’re on the latest version of the plugin.
