• Hi,

So I recently had a server crash. I then restored all my sites (including 3 wordpress sites) and 2 of the 3 worked perfect. The third however, seemed to work perfect as far as restoring the wordpress files and restoring the database, but when I try to access the site itself all the posts come up blank.

To be clear, the site shows the “previous” and “next” links and tab through the appropriate amount for how many posts there should be, but the posts aren’t there.

Further, in the admin page for editing posts its says “All (114) | Published (112) | Drafts (2)”, but when I click on any of those it says “No Posts Found”.

All the images are there and when I look in the database tables themselves all the data appears to be there for the posts, they just don’t show up.

I was thinking something that might be messing it up is that the file backup was from a week after the last database backup. Would this mess anything up?

I could of course manually go through all 112 posts and copy the content and titles and post dates and comments and all that and re-post them on a fresh database, but that would be very tedious.

    Any other ideas?

Update: If I go to one of the old post pages itself it gives me the following error in Firefox: The page isn’t redirecting properly

    Another update:

If I use a fresh database (newly installed wordpress version) and post new posts, they don’t show up the same as the previous posts in the old database.
