Feature Request: Import from CPT UI

  • Previously I have been using CPT UI for postyypes and taxnomoies. Your version is much better and I do not need that plugin anymore, but still it would be even better if we could import posttypes and taxonomies registered by CPT UI. It could be in the Pro version.

    I find it more intuitive to use, as it follows WordPress’s system (listing of CPTs and taxonomies) but also the way information is organized in tabs, the activation / deactivation option, ease and flexibility to choose re-write url arguments etc…

    Agreed! This is a major feature request for me!

    I haven’t even used the ACFE interface for post type and taxonomy creation yet, but would third this request! I saw the admin screens for it and was disappointed to find that it did not recognize existing custom post types and taxonomies.

    FYI, I believe that recognizing existing custom post types and taxonomies is a different issue/request vs the ability to import others from CPT UI specifically. “Recognize” seems to imply the ability to modify existing custom post types, which could be nice, but would certainly require a whole different set of functionality.
