Automatically get the discount.

  • Dear Support,

    I am using yith proteo theme with yith gift cards. When I receive the email with the Gift Card Code, there is a message at the bottom that states

    “To use this gift card, you can either enter the code in the gift card field on the cart page or click on the following link to automatically get the discount.”

    When I click on the APPLY YOUR GIFT CARD CODE button, I get redirected to the website, but purchasing any product does not automatically apply the gift card code. I still need to input it manually in the APPLY GIFT CARD field.

    Please may you help me resolve this issue?

    Could you tell us what version you have installed? Could you try leaving only WooCommerce and our plugin active and see if the problem persists?

    Thank you for responding to my query!
    I am using version 2.9.0

    I have deactivated all the plugins aside from gift cards and woo commerce and still the problem persists. The discount is not being applied automatically when I click through to the website via the email link.

    Is there a way that I can forward the email to you? If you need it?

    Hi there!

    We tell you that the function of automatically applying the gift card code to the cart from the email is only available in the premium version, so in the free version it only redirects to the store.
