I m testing your plugin which looks awesome by the way and I setup my IMAP via Outlook rather than gmail.
When I press the process email button, it create post in draft as requested but it doesn t save answer to email as comments as configured.
the other issue the process email will create duplicate post from the exacct same read emails each time I click it.

How can I debug these, what am I missing ?

I’m glad Postie is working for you.

I’m not sure I understand “it doesn’t save answer to email as comments as configured” Are you talking about replies?

Yes, if you import the same email multiple times it will create multiple copies.

    Hi Mr Allen,

Yes I was talking about the replies.
For the import, it is better to delete the amil in the inbox then? I would rather prefer to keep the original email in the mailbox. Is there a way to import only unread emails?

    Best david

To help diagnose what is happening with replies please install the support addon as described here https://postieplugin.com/downloads/support-addon/
Once you send me the logs associated with a couple of tests we should be able to figure out what is going on.

There is not a way to import unread emails. If you want to keep the emails you need to use 2 accounts. One for Postie and one for archiving. You can do this by CCing one of the accounts or set up a rule in the Postie account to automatically forward a copy to your archive account.
