Is Cubic outdated?

  • I setup a WP website looong time ago, using Cubic theme. I REALLY like it.
    And plan to use the same theme on new (personal) website and then realized that the theme is really outdated?!? Last update: June 8th, 2017, and WP version: 3.8 or higher.
    I think it wouldn’t be the smartest idea to use the theme for a new website, don’t you think?

    Can somebody suggest a theme that is as close as possible to Cubic theme?

  • Hi! Generally we don’t make big functional changes to older themes, because we don’t want to break existing sites.

    If you want to use newer features and they aren’t working well for you in this theme, though, there are other grid-based themes out there. Try searching for that term and you’ll likely find options. Cheers!

    I’m not going to change the old website – as long as it works.
    But, with the new one, I’ll probably go with something newer.
