    Support,

I am new to WordPress and Web Stories so my question might be silly…I apologise for that beforehand.

Started creating WebStories about 15 days ago and notice a huge increase in traffic but now it has decreased to nearly zero.

You may see GA report in the link below:

Is it something incorrectly designed in my website structure ?

    Thanks to advise.
    Rodrigo

@rlscorp Hello there! No need to apologize ?? We appreciate you reaching out with your topic. Please note that questions about search rankings and traffic are generally better suited for Google Search Central, as they go a bit beyond our support offering for the Web Stories WordPress plugin.

That being said, it is not unusual to see spikes and declines in traffic, for example when content is being featured on Google Discover. At the same time, Google Search is constantly improving its algorithms, which can affect ranking. Linking to / embedding stories from other places on your sites and following the recommendations from the pre-publish checklist is a good way to ensure your users will find your stories. Your stories pass AMP validation so there isn’t any issues from the plugin side and nothing further you need to do there.

If you’re not sure whether a change in traffic is caused by a change to your site, use Search Console’s various tools to see if your content is properly crawled and indexed. The help resources at Google Search Central can further help debug cases like this.
