• Hi, we have the plugin Easy WP SMTP in a client’s web, so when someone purchase receive an email confirming the order. The problem is that it works but the users with Gmail don’t receive the email. Making a test in the plugin indicates that it was succesfully sent, but the mails don’t arrive, neither to spam.

It seems that this issue only occurred through the web, and that the senders mail works correctly through other platforms, and let other gmail accounts receive the emails.

    How is it possible? Thanks.

  • Hi, are you saying that anyone with a Gmail account don’t receive the email. Not even in the spam box. Is this correct?

    Regards.

Exactly, any Gmail mail has not received the test of the plugin, not even in the spam box… Thank you.

Hi, do you know if Google has blocked your email address because of spamming?

    Regards.

yes, same problem to me!! no email received in gmail and in spam box!!

Hi, can you check to see if your issue is the same or similar to the following issue.

    Thank you.

it is not working, I have solved installing this plugin “YaySMTP”

@caramella1123, what settings did you configure in “YaySMTP” plugin that is different to our plugin?

    Thank you.

@mbrsolution it is similar to your plugin but it is working and i can send email to yahoo and to gmail now! with your plugin my messages did not reach yahoo and google!

setting is similar , smtp port, Encryption Type, SMTP Username, SMTP pass

I ran into a similar issue, the Googlemail system responded to every outgoing email with delivery incomplete for a TLS Negotiation error:

    TLS Negotiation failed: FAILED_PRECONDITION: starttls error (71): 23111072217672:error:10000417:SSL routines:OPENSSL_internal:SSLV3_ALERT_ILLEGAL_PARAMETER:third_party/openssl/boringssl/src/ssl/tls_record.cc:594:SSL alert number 47

I tested with YaySMTP and it worked.

Thank you for sharing the exact error.

One of the reasons for it is if the certificate setup on the site is not 100% correct to satisfy Google’s policy or it is not Valid for the mail domain and mail server. Gmail is strict in this regard.

Are you using SMTP from your hosting provider or from an external source (for example: Gmail, Yahoo, Sendinblue etc.)?

Are you using SSL from Cloudflare or the free Let’s Encrypt SSL?

Please check that TLS has been started on your server. The following external tool can be helpful to check your domain:
