Additional Post Edit Page Columns

I have made additional taxonomies within one of my installs, on a custom post type, and I would like to show these taxonomy blocks side by side under the text editor on the edit page. Is there a method i can call to do this?

I will be having other users editing the actual content, and would like to reduce scrolling and the chance that they will miss these boxes. Also, there ends up being a lot of wasted space as these boxes don’t really need to go all the way across the larger column.
