• I have been using this plugin to create patterns, but with the latest WP update, I no longer see, “created by reusable blocks extended” in the pattern dropdown menu.
and the patterns created, I have not found. only the reusable blocks.

    Please advise
    Many thanks,

  • I’m having the same problem. May be related to WP 5.9.3 update?

Actually it’s not WP 5.9.3 it’s Gutenberg plugin Version 13.0.0 that’s causing the problem. Turned off all my plugins and then back on one-by-one until the problem occured.

With the Gutenberg plugin deactivated, the converted Block Patterns shows up at the bottom of the dropdown Patterns menu. With the Gutenberg plugin activated the Converted from Reusable Blocks menu selection is missing.

Hope you can fix this, since I rely on the Gutenberg plugin to get the pre-release features I use for my FSE projects.

    Work Around:
I rolled back the Gutenberg plugin to Version 12.9.0 with the WP Rollback pluain. This enables me to continue to create patterns with the Reusable blocks extended Plugin

I can confirm that if you install bleeding edge/beta Gutenberg separate plugin, then the patterns are not shown in the Inserter any more.

I think they actually are created, but the new gutenberg does not show them

The problem now exists with the Gutenberg plugin deactivated, but using WorePress 6.0 RC-2.

When trying to insert a Block Pattern in a post, the patterns created by the Reusable Blocks Extended plugin are not displayed in the Patterns dropdown menu.

Are you going to respond to this issue? Have you abandoned this plugin?

    I have this problem too.

YES!!! It’s working again with WP6.0-RC3.

Converted from Reusable Blocks Extended shows up again in the dropdown list of Patterns, this time at the top of the list just after the Featured blocks.

It’s good to have this functionality back.

I haven’t tried it with the latest version of Gutenberg plugin since I have that deactivated while running the WP-RC versions (didn’t work with RC2, now works with RC3)
