Traslatepress shows only second languages on search result
My website’s main language is Spanish and the other language I added is English; but on Google search results, it shows like example.com/en instead of main example.com.
How can I not index other languages slug? or set to appear my main website link example.com or whenever user search it should appear as main website link instead of another slug.
Can you please guide how can I solve this?
    Regards

    Hello there,

Thank you for letting us know about this!

When I asked for help from my colleagues they said that probably you get the EN version just because you have English as the browser language and that`s why you see the EN version of your website.

Try to switch the language of your browser and see if everything is ok.

    Let me know about this!

    Kind Regards,

Yes, I checked but it shows in Google search results even though I tried to change the browser language but still shows the EN version instead of the official website URL without any language slug…
How can I remove the other languages slug from Google and other search indexes?

    Hello there,

If the default language is English, you can remove the language slug if you deactivate the function called “Use subdirectory for the default language” from the General tab in case you have it enabled.

For the secondary languages, it is not possible to remove the language slug from the URL, unfortunately.

If there`s anything else, please let me know!

    Kind Regards,
