On clicking on ‘publish’ it’s just spinning and never going through.

Instead, I get hanging. I’ve checked the error log and it shows nothing. The server isn’t showing as busy either.

Is this a possible plugin conflict, a bug, or could it be some form glitch? It’s a demo site with a lot of plugins, but most are deactivated. The main ones on are the Ninjaforms I’m tying it too.

I see this on turning on Debug

Hi @starhorsepax2,

GiveWP core no longer uses the give_after_donation_levels hook. Are you using any GiveWP-related custom code?

I was using forms generated by Caldera Forms, which we converted to use with NinjaForms. It says “Legacy Form” on it when it posts into the Give Form section. I’m not aware of where it would have that, but they were copied from the meta tags following the instructions on the Give site.

The only articles that mention give_after_donation_levels are this:

and this: https://givewp.com/documentation/developers/how-to-create-custom-form-fields/ from 2016 so the code might not be up-to-date.

Upon closer inspection, we do still use the give_after_donation_levels filter in the legacy form template: https://github.com/impress-org/givewp/blob/master/includes/forms/template.php

So your customization should still work but you probably should disable WP_DEBUG mode on your production site.

oh debug is only on demo.
And I have confirmed that is where the problem is. I have no idea why. All theme/plugins off but that, same host/server. Yet it bugs. I went ahead and created them on the live site and it works fine. So I guess if it works live it doesn’t matter if it stays a mystery.
