Polylang Strings translations behave strangely

  • When I go to Appearance – customize (just go without doing anything), strings translations, which I already translated, get messy. That is, the default language strings (in this case English) turn/copy the second language strings (in this case French). In other words, suddenly, the strings in English turn French. However, sometimes the opposite happens; the strings in French turn/copy English.
    It happens every time I go to customize. I don’t do anything, literally. And every time I have to go back to strings and re-edit them again!
