    Hi,
I am new to WP Forms. I am using Sendinblue as my SMTP. Whenever I receive a submitted form, it shows “My Company” as the sender even though I think I set up my specific name. Maybe I set it up in the wrong place.

I set the WP Form with the correct name. Could this be overridden by Sendinblue or in WP Main SNMP?

    Any help would be appreciated.
    thanks

  • Hey @saz25,

    Thanks for contacting us!

When you have sometime, can you please double check the From Name in WP Mail SMTP settings? Further, when you have some time, I would also suggest you to check your Sendinblue account name and see if the account name is set to My Company?

    Please let me know!

    Kindly,

    Hi,
I was able to resolve my issue by changing thesed settings in Sendinblue:
Activate email through Sendinblue, set to No.
Activate Marketing Automation through Sendinblue, set to No.

Now the From email and name is correct as I defined in the Form configuraton.
It works, but does this mean I am not using SMTP and thus bypassing Sendinblue?

Does WP Mail SMTP have its own builtin SMTP server?
    thanks

    Hello @saz25,

Thanks for following up on this ticket, and I apologize for the delay in getting back to your support request.

At this moment we don’t have a built-in SMTP server. However, when you get a chance, can you please share the screenshot of the changes you’ve made so I can take a closer look?
