    Hi, @pixelbart.

Today, my website was down intermittently.
I contacted WordPress support, and the website turned active after they deactivated Helpful plugin.
While the website was down, error massage “429 Too Many Requests” appered.
Do you have any guesses about this situation?

    Thank you.

    Koki

    @odajimakoki thanks for your message!

Which version of Helpful are you using? The problem is not on any of our sites and others do not have similar problems.

    Hi, Kevin.
    Thank you for your massage.

    I’m using version 4.5.10.
I believe that is the latest one.
Based on the information that other sites do not have similar problems, is it unlikely that the problem was caused by the plugin?

    Thank you.

There was a bug in the version regarding unset sessions. The problem was fixed with version 4.5.11.

Maybe your problem is solved with it. Other than that, I can’t think of much right now. Others don’t seem to have the problem, so no one else has reported a similar problem, which makes it hard for me to find a solution.

    Greetings Kevin

    Thanks for your information.
As I updated the pugin to the latest, I will reactivate it and see what happens.

    Thank you again!

    Hello,

I have a similar problem. We have a lot of requests from Helpful, which is crashing the site.
We have disabled the extension and the site is working again.

There is a DELETE request that runs for several minutes. During Meanwhile, numerous OPTIMIZE requests are queued up waiting for the table to be waiting for the table to be freed and then run.

Thanks a lot for your help!

I have undone a recent change. Maybe this will solve your problems. I’m not sure yet why this takes so much memory from the server, so I’ll leave it disabled for now.

The change looked for duplicate entries in the Helpful database table and deleted them. However, this query was apparently too heavy for some servers.

If it didn’t get better, I would be very grateful if you could give me more details about the problem. I’m having a hard time figuring out where the problem might be right now.

Thanks again and please stay healthy!

    Greetings Kevin

The new update has fixed the problem. Thanks
