    Hi,

Every time I create a carousel using Slide Anything, I see duplicate slides in the html markup. This example has 5 slides, which shows up fine on the page but has 11 items in the html markup. The visible ones are marked by css-class “owl-item” and the invisible duplicate ones are marked by css-class “owl-item cloned”.

Because of this, the page is flagged by an accessibility tool as having items with duplicate IDs. Can you tell why it’s happening and how to avoid it?

    Thanks,
    Alice

Well Owl Carousel (which is the slider engine I use for my slider) has an an infinite loop feature, which you enable by ticking the ‘Loop Slider’ checkbox. This creates additional slides at the begin/end of the slider to facilitate this infinite looping effect. If you untick this checkbox then you will see there are no duplicate slides at the begin/end of the slider.

At the top of my list of changes for Slide Anything is to add an option to disable adding a CSS ID to each slide, but to replace this with a CSS class. I’ll be looking into this in the coming weeks, and this should resolve yur issue when implemented.

Disabling Loop Slider worked! Thank you for your quick response!
