Google maps code not working

I’m new to WP. I feel like WP can make horribly complicated a lot of simple things.
The google maps code work only if you paste it in html mode and don’t touch the page in visual way anymore. If you do it WP transforms it in shortcode, breaking it and making it not working after the next page update.
