Hi! I have an issue with the plugin since a few weeks.

In the products sync tab it says that the products are being synchronized, and it is stuck on 1 remaining product.

As I had been having problems with the facebook catalog for a long time (badly synchronized products), I deleted the catalog from business facebook and created a new one.

In WordPress I disconnected the Facebook account, I reconnected it to this new catalog, but in the products sync tab the process is always stuck in 1 remaining product.

I’ve tried disabling the plugin, removing it, disconnecting the account, reconnecting it again. Disable other plugins that can cause the problem, but still the same.

What caught my attention, with the facebook account disconnected, the products sync tab was still the same… in the process of synchronization and 1 product remaining; when it shouldn’t be working as there was no linked account.

    Please help me ??

    Hi @gastonpage,

I’m sorry to read you are having problems with your store sync to Facebook.

Thanks for sharing the logs and added details. The fact that the same behavior is displayed after deactivating the extension seems to be related to caching.

As a next step, please do the following:

    1. From your system status report, ensure your PHP Post Max Size is at least 512 MB. Your host can help you increase it in case it’s below.
    2. Next, visit: Marketing > Facebook > Product Sync and attempt a manual sync (see screenshot below).

Would you please let me know if that worked?

    Thanks!

Hi @battouly, first of all, thanks for your help.

I tried everything you suggested, but I’m still having the same problem.

    1. I ensure I have at least 512mb PHP post max size
    Screenshot: https://imgur.com/I3SSSpZ

    2. I disconnected the facebook account

    3. Disabled the plugin

    4. Active the plugin

    5. Went to configure it (still disconnected from Facebook account)
    Screenshot: https://imgur.com/D54GblS

    6. The sync tab still syncing automatically and stays always with the message 1 product remaining
    Screenshot: https://imgur.com/H0zLby9

I can’t even activate manual synchronization, because when I enter this tab it starts to synchronize automatically and gets stuck there in a loop.

Anything else I can do? Thanks!

    Hi @gastonpage,

Looking over your logs, there does appear to be an error:

    {“error”:{“message”:”Invalid parameter”,”type”:”OAuthException”,”code”:100,”error_subcode”:2804019,”is_transient”:false,”error_user_title”:”Server Side Api Parameter Error”,”error_user_msg”:”Param $[‘data’][0][‘custom_data’][‘value’] must be a number”,”fbtrace_id”:”AALrpY7J6P3fjqQ8q3SNFid”}}

This error stems from a parameter that is not accepted by Facebook. If your particular product that is not syncing is a variable/attribute product, be sure there are no special characters inside the variable/attribute, as Facebook does not understand it.

Once that is resolved, on the product itself try to delete it from Facebook, and then try to re-sync and see if it works.

Hi @nixiack8 thanks for your reply.

I understand the issue you comment, but the problem here is that the sync tab is stuck syncing, and don’t let me either stop de syncing, also being disconnected the facebook account, the sync tab continue loading. I tried everything and its stay the same.

I really need help with this issue, because I cant sell or make catalog advertising ??

    Hi @gastonpage,

In this case, it would be best to start from scratch since the sync appears to be stuck as you say. This can be done a few ways:

    – Check for the wc_facebook_regenerate_feed action under WooCommerce > Status > Action Scheduler. If it is there and Pending try to kill it and see if that frees up the sync option. It would look like this.

    – You can try to deactivate and then re-activate the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin under Plugins > All Plugins. After this, go to the product in question and check for the attributes/variations and make sure there are no special characters, and then see if you can delete the Facebook item from there. It would look like this.

    – If that does not work, then deleting the Facebook plugin and re-installing it, then double checking the attributes/variations for special characters (!, #, %, etc) and re-syncing would be next.

Let us know how it goes!

Hi @nixiack8 Thank you for your answer.

I tried each of the points you suggested but the sync tab keeps getting stuck ??
I checked all the attributes and they don’t have any special characters.

I really don’t know what else I can do.

I’m thinking of moving to a new server, and also starting from scratch with a new website.

    Any other tips or suggestions?

    Thank you!`

    Hi @gastonpage

A new site may be necessary if the reason for the problem is caused by something other than our plugins or a conflict with the active theme or other plugins. One last suggestion would be to try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-Two and disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce to see if this resolves the problem.

If this fixes the issue, then re-enable each plugin one at a time, then the theme, until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

Otherwise, it may be helpful to see if the problem occurs with another host.

    Hi @gastonpage

We’ll mark this thread as close, but feel free to open a new support thread should you still have issues after using the most recent version of Facebook for WooCommerce.
