500 Error after installing JetPack + Free Rant

    The installation experience has gotten worse. Jetpack, Mailpoet, Stripe, BS analytics and other plugins I would never use are now installed on my test site resulting in 500 errors on every page load. Had to enable XML-RPC when it’s normally the first security hole I patch. Is the idea with woocommerce to destroy to enable online commerce? Can we return to Woo days?

    Why can’t I just connect woocommerce to my own curated plugins instead of a child’s list of curated plugins? Your basket isn’t secure enough to hold all my eggs. Over and over again, lose money woocommerce.

    If you want to enable ecommerce for more people, stop the UX confusion and addition of non-essential plugins. No one wants to learn mailpoet while setting up a store. Does mailpoet installation automatically setup woocommerce and jetpack?
