• So I noticed this morning that the amount of storage free users can have has been axed to 500mb. Blogging is more of a hobby to me, so frankly, I am trying to avoid shelling out $180 right now. I was trying to see if I could migrate my media over to Google Cloud, but it seems the easiest (only?) way to do this is by using a plugin… which also requires a pro account. Is this true, or is there a work-around where I can at least download all my media without paying $180?

    Thanks ahead of time.

  • Hey,
Support page for wp.com is here https://wordpress.com/support/
However, if you’re planning to download/export your images and save them locally then delete some of those images to free space on your website.

Then you can go to Tools > Export then you can export the media, then verify the exported zip file if all the content you need is there then you can delete the images to free the space.

For any other queries, you may ask on wp.com support forum.

    Thanks
