Thanks for the great plugin! I’m able to save considerable time in the backend now.

The only thing I can think of to improve the plugin is to add a button or link in the plugins page to check for updates once. It would save the hassle of disabling and reenabling the plugin.

Is this something you would consider adding?

Hi @nickchomey, well the purpose of the plugin is to remove update nags and requests from/to extermal sources so as long as the plugin is active no update notifications will be shown – even if the button you suggested would temporarily disable the checks it wouldn’t show any info on new updates as long as the plugin remains enabled.

    Thanks for the response!

My though was that the button could disable the plugin’s blocking mechanism temporarily, run the wp update mechanism, and then enable itself again.

Anyway, I understand if it isn’t something you want to add.
