Since the upgrade I have been unable to upload images either through the Flash uploader or the browser uploader. The process starts but then terminates with this error message…..

““LORD RODNEY.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
Unable to create directory \\nas24ent\domains\f\fleetwood-trawlers.info\user\htdocs\wp-content/uploads/2010/06. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

Has anyone else had this problem?

I should have mentioned that I can FTP in to the site and upload images to the folders that way.

You probably don’t have the right permissions on the folder 2010, but I don’t know how to reset them on Windows ??

Unfortunately you can’t reset permissions on a Windows server.
Anyway, after trawling through this forum I found the answer.

In the “Media” section of the dashboard, I changed the file path from the complete URL that was in there to the default (wp-content/uploads) one and things were back to normal.
