How do I get ajax load more to only display 9 posts?

    I am trying to change the number of posts that display on my homepage before the load more button is displayed. Currently, my site is showing 15 posts but I only want it to display 9 before the load more button displays. When I change this setting with my theme settings, it still doesn’t change the # of posts displayed. I am using a grid within my Uncode theme to display posts. That grid is set to display 9 posts but it still continues to display 15. I spoke with the developers of my theme and it appears the issue is related to the AJAX load more plug in I have been using. Can someone kindly please show me how to change the number of posts that are displayed using this plug in?
