From your screenshot it seems that there is a caching plugin behind this behavior.

Please purge all cache from the caching plugin in use. Also, you’ll want to configure the plugin not to cache the cart, checkout, and My Account pages. Here’s a helpful guide – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-caching-plugins/

Next, you’ll want to clear your browser’s cache memory, and check if the issue persists. Here’s a guide: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache

If the issue persists after trying the above, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

I also noticed from your screenshot that your browser is also not up to date. It’s probably unrelated, but just to rule it out, can you please update your browser as well?

Hey @batcop,

Thanks for sending that over. If you go to WooCommerce > Home in your WordPress admin, is the task list still visible there at all?

If it is, you should be able to click on the three dots in the top-right of it and select “hide” to make it disappear. That should also bring up the status widget in the dashboard.

Let us know what you find out and we’ll go from there.
