    Hi,

Every time the WordFence firewall comes out of learning mode, even after months of learning, it prevents Fancy Product Designer from working. Even after allowing it, it still causes problems. Not sure what to do. Check the screenshot I provided in the link above.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @digitallion

    Thanks for reaching out!

The issue seems to originate from the XSS (Cross-Site Scripting) rule in Wordfence.

Fancy Product Designer uses SVG images which can be used for Cross-Site Scripting.

The developers are currently looking into this issue, but unfortunately, we are unable to provide a timeline for a fix at this moment.

We do have two temporary solutions you can try, however:

    1. Have learning mode on for a long period of time until each product has been purchased at least once.

    2. Disable XSS. Please keep in mind that doing this is quite risky and leaves your site open to XSS attacks. Do this at your own risk.

You can disable XSS by opening Wordfence -> All Options -> Advanced Firewall Options -> Rules -> XSS

Please let me know how it goes?

    Thanks,

    Joshua
