    Thanks Andrew! I agree that this should be in WP core. There’s been a discussion on Github about at least adding a “paste as plain text” button in Gutenberg, but the last comment was made almost a year ago (and it’s pretty resignated, to say the least) so it doesn’t seem to be a prioritized feature at all.
