• Hi,
I’m trying to serve images from the subdomain, I created a subd. and tried to change the upload url path from wp-admin/options.php but every time I put my subdomain at upload url path and save it, still stay blank or the default (to double-check it I uploaded an image and the url is the same as it was) the site is hosted with Namecheap/ VPS dedicated and Cloudflare – does any of these stops to change? also the wp-content/upload I changed the permission from 750 to 755..

  • You might have missed a few steps in your setup.
I have found a good guide to serving uploads folders from subdomains. You can find it here https://www.webnots.com/move-wordpress-images-folder-to-subdomain/

Note: Please create a backup before doing any changes. Another way is to install another fresh wordpress in a sub directory or somewhere else and test the setup there first and then implement it on a live site.
