I went over the limit of 1,000 subscribers of the free tier. I noticed I have a few subscribers that should not be on the list (other users I added to my website as contributors) so I tried to delete them. I can move them to the trash but when I click on delete permanently, nothing happens. This is very odd, and if I remember well it was working before hitting the 1,000 subscribers limit… How can I solve this? Are you disabling the ability to delete subscribers on purpose?

    Hello there @ilconterik

We did not disable the ability to delete your subscribers.

If you cannot delete a subscriber, it means they’re probably added to the WordPress Users list or the WooCommerce Customers list.

WordPress Users should be deleted as a User by going to the WordPress dashboard > Users page.

Customers added to the WooCommerce Customers list can not be removed from this list or from the MailPoet plugin, unless you delete their order from the WooCommerce plugin. They can be marked as “Unsubscribed” though.

Since we charge our customers by the number of subscribers they have on their MailPoet’s lists, it does not matter to our service if you are just sending to a list with just a few subscribers. All of them with the status ” Subscribed”, “Inactive” and “Unconfirmed” are used to calculate your total number of subscribers.

    I hope this helps!

    Have a great day!

Yes it does, this is most likely what is happening. Thank you
