Taxonomy Page Descriptions

  • I have a taxonomy for a portfolio site by the name of Discipline.

    In the disciplines are things like Advertising, Digital, Marketing etc.

    I’m creating a page for each discipline that has a bit of lead-in copy. This copy is technically the description of that discipline in the back of WordPress. (So the end-user can edit these or make new disciplines)

    However – using a template page of taxonomy-discipline.php I can’t seem to think of the correct code to output the description of a taxonomy – depending on the one they’re viewing.

    Any ideas?
