    Hi there ??

I just installed the plugin and the setup process was pretty smooth.

The only thing is that my website is in french but the Cookie Notice Banner (and all the texts and buttons on it) in the front end are in english…

It’s weird because the generated cookie-policy page is in french.

I checked and there is no translation available to download in the update panel neither…

How can I get all the default buttons and texts for the banner in French?
(without having to manually re-write everything on all the websites, as I have 25+ website to manage and it will be a pain to copy/paste every piece of text one by one to get it in the correct language…)

    Thanks for your help ??

    Hi @laugau,

After you have set the Site Language to the desired language (French), you can navigate to Complianz > Cookie Banner and click the “Reset to default values” button (please note that this will reset the styles of your Cookie Banner).

That will set the Cookie Banner text fields to the defaults of your currently selected Site Language.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

Hi and thanks for the prompt answer @jarnovos !

Actually, my site was already set to “French”, but my user profile is in “English”. (I prefer to have everything in english because some translations are not accurate in french)

So I passed my user profile in French, and then “reset to default values” Complianz, and then re set my user profile in english…

It worked but I think, the Cookie Banner should automatically be in the language of the site, not the language of the user.

Hope that makes sense (and that it will be fixed).

That said, I am really happy with the plugin and I plan to put it on all my client’s websites soon, with the premium version for the most important ones.

Thanks again and have a great day ??
