    Hey again,

So, periodically I release a new post on early access to a close group of friends, which I do via Password Protection (the in-built one, I mean).

However, this requires access to wp-login.php to function correctly, which I can’t do while wp-login.php is blocked/returning an Error 404. The only thing I can do for the 48hrs is to unblock wp-login.php which is, of course, a security issue!

Is there any way to provide a workaround so it can stay blocked, but still process password protection?
    Thanks,

    FJ

    Hi,
This should work fine. I presume you also changed the wp-login.php to something else and blocked the default. That should also reflect on the front side, when asking for the password. The FORM action should be the new login URL rather than the default. If that not happening, you should clear the site cache, which allows the front side to update accordingly.

    Thanks
