admin assign tasks

  • Hi,
    is it possible to let the admin assign tasks for an event to certain members?
    And send an RSVP to the member to accept the task.
    I also need a way to show extra content to people who are assigned certain tasks.
    Can I do that? And how?

    Tasks are not RSVP-related. You can assign tasks via the frontend by signing up as that person, but there’s no approval-part to it (yet). They will get a mail with the subscribe-info and can even cancel if you use the related placeholders.
    For the second part, I think you need something like [eme_mytasks] just like [eme_mybookings]. I’m trying to find the time to code that up …

    FYI, from the changelog for the next version:

    * Added #_USER_IS_REGISTERED placeholder for shortcode eme_tasks_signups, can be used as e.g. conditional tag
    * Added shortcode eme_mytasks to show the signups for the current logged in user.
