• Free version that is forced into every WP Astra theme import is useless. Constantly sends email as the admin email with no way to edit that I know of. The features of the free version are pretty much garbage. I wish WP Astra would give the option to not install this terrible plugin.

    Hey @nicelydonesites,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’d like to apologize for the experience that you had with the plugin, I’m sorry that we made the process of configuring notifications harder to figure out than it needed to be.

Please know, you can edit the recipient of the default form notification through the form builder by clicking on Settings > Notifications > Send To Email Address as shown here. By default, this field will use the {admin_email} smart tag that loads the admin email. You can replace this smart tag with one or several email addresses that you’d like to receive the email notification. In case it helps, you can also learn more about configuring form notifications on this page.

In case you also wanted to disable the weekly email summary, you could do so by heading over to WP admin > WPForms > Settings > Misc > Disable Email Summaries as shown here. The email summary will usually be sent to the admin email address but you can set a different email address by following the steps in this tutorial.

And if there are any other issues where you’d like more help with using WPForms Lite, please feel welcome to post in our WPForms Lite support forum.

    Thanks!
