So far so annoying

  • I spent five hours trying to figure out why my plugin to allow HTML in the author box wasn’t working, only to find it was the result of esc_html on the template part itself. I edited the template part, but now it’s pointless because anyone plugin update will revert back to displaying the author description without HTML, which means authors can’t include a link to their social.

    It’s just annoying. Otherwise, it’s mostly good.

    Just royally sucks that I can’t really use it now because this “tiny” flaw is a huge deal-breaker. I loathe when theme developers remove organic WordPress functionality, even if it’s not to put into a premium design copy. It’s like breaking something that wasn’t broken.

    then either you can override that template for now or wait for our next update we will update in the next version.
