Every user gets mail when I as admin follow a comment and I reply

    Hello, I as a admin have followed a comment and when I reply to the comment an email is sent to ALL USERS in my database instead of only me.

    It is really disturbing for my clients to get an email for something the have not applied to. I have to send a apology mail.

    How can I prevent this?

    I also had plugin “Subscribe to Comments Reloaded” activated during I tried your plugin. And “Subscribe to Comments Reloaded” has also sent emails, but only to me.

    Could this might be the issue?

    I do not wanna try again and everybody in my database gets an email.

    And all mails were sent as cc, so that all email receiver could see mails from anybody else. I am based in Germany and because of GDPR its a NOGO.

    issue was the plugin “Subscribe to Comments Reloaded” . closing
