We have unfortunately a big problem in the interaction with Borlabs Cookie and the Pro version, the pixels are set only once, when the Borlabs window appears and you click on “Accept all”… then as soon as you open another page and of course the cookie banner doesn’t appear anymore, the pixels are not set. It seems like only the action performed right after “Accept All” sets the pixels.
If you delete all cookies and reload the page, they are set again after “Accept All”.

When we disable “Enable Explicit Consent Mode” the pixels are always set, but that is due to the GDPR not an option.

All plugin, wordpress and theme are up to date.

We have tried everything, replaced theme, disabled other plugins – get nowhere.

    Asking for support!

    Best regards

    Hi @nldx,

    Thank you for reaching out!

I checked your site and it seems to be working fine. See – https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEurGNv5.

    Here’s what I did:

    1. Checking the cookies being accepted
When I visited your site, I opened the developer tools and went to the Applications Tab. In there I was able to see a few essential cookies. After clicking Accept All, you can see in the video that other cookies were added.

    2. Checking the Facebook Pixels
While the page is open, I used an extension called Facebook Pixel Helper. In there, you can see that it is detecting pixels that are fired on the page.

    3. Checking the Google Pixels
I was able to confirm as well that the Google Pixels were being fired on the site. I used the Google Tag Assistant Legacy extension in checking this. You can also see in the video that your tags are firing.

Could you tell us the tool that you’re using to check the pixels? Also, you can try testing your page in an incognito browser. Then, only activate the tool extensions that you’re using. See if you’ll be able to see the pixels firing.

Let me know how it goes.

    Regards,
    Kenneth

    Hi Kenneth,

thanks for the feedback. It seems to work in Chrome, but not in Firefox.
Do you have any idea why firefox (protect mode disabled) has this issues?

    Best regards

    Hi Robert

I don’t know which pixel helper you are using in Facebook, but there seems not to be an official one for Firefox.

The only official Pixel Helper for Facebook is the one for Chrome: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/meta-pixel/support/pixel-helper

What I want to say is, that the Firefox Facebook Pixel Helper your are using is not an official one and might simply show wrong data. And, we can’t give support for that.

My recommendation is to use the Chrome Facebook Pixel helper.

    Regards
    Aleksandar
