Multiple clicks for login button to work

  • Hey Jeff,

    There’s a new issue that has cropped up that I’m curious if you know what could be causing it. When a user goes to sign in, the Login button doesn’t react on the first click, it takes two or more sometimes up to four clicks for the form to react, where it then signs the user in.

    If it requires more than two tries, a message pops up stating…”An error has occurred while trying to authenticate…” then it will redirect the login successfully after this message pops up all on its own.

    Have you heard of this happening before or what could be causing it?

    Are you sure the page is not loading, just slowly, after the first click?

    Negative. First click acts like it’s linked to # where nothing happens, nothing loads. Second click reacts.

    So strange. Perhaps it’s a conflict but I can’t pinpoint it.

    I was more or less curious if you’ve heard of this happening before on certain sites? It doesn’t seem to happen on other sites I’m using this plugin on, just one site in particular.

    I’ll keep toying around with it and see if I can minimize any other conflicts.
