Duplicate entries on My Account Page

    On the My account page the following link options are shown in the left sidebar

    Dashboard
    Posts
    Edit Profile
    Submit Post

    This is fine.

    But after that another line is written which is as follows

    “From your account dashboard you can view your dashboard, manage your Dashboard, Posts, Edit Profile, Billing Address, Submit Post”

    In the above sentence the words Dashboard, Posts, Edit Profile, Billing address, Submit Posts are links. So there is duplicacy. Example – Link for Submit post is not required twice on the same page.

    So my question is can I remove this sentence which is coming second time.

    Secondly, If this sentence cannot be removed then can I at least remove “Billing Address” from this sentence as I have not enable payments on my site and so this link displays a dummy data

    Let me know if I am mistaken. However I must say these options were kept in the dashboard page along with side tab intentionally. And I would also like to inform you that its a common practice. Many other famous plugins also arrange their account page like this. For example WooCommerce also has side tab options inside the dashboard tab.     However if you want to remove those options from the dashboard tab then you can apply some custom CSS to hide them.
